Welcome to Waldbad Camping Park in Isny.

Are you looking for a beautifully-situated, restful campsite for your camping holiday in Allgäu? Then we are the right address for you! Whether you want to go camping in summer or winter (see our opening times), here you can relax and reset your body clock.

We offer you a comfortable, well-tended campsite, where families, young people and the young at heart can enjoy the experience of a camping holiday in the unspoilt natural surroundings of Allgäu. Our site is also ideal for health-booster camping. Whether tent, caravan or camper van, we have the right spot for all camping fans on our site.

Felderholzweiher bathing lake, which reaches temperatures of up to 23°C, is only a few metres away from the campsite. As the shore is flat, it is very popular with our camping guests. It provides wonderful opportunities for bathing, swimming or just splashing around, and pet dogs are also catered for – there is a small neighbouring area where they can go into the water and swim.

Our campsite location

Our idyllically situated campsite and bathing lake are situated in a tranquil, sunny clearing in the woods just over 1.3 km away from Isny in Allgäu. Isny belongs to the district of Ravensburg in the federal state of Baden-Württemberg, on the border to Bavaria. A wide range of sports and leisure facilities is available, as well as excursions and cultural activities.

Sustainable camping

We attach great importance to running our campsite in an eco-friendly and hence sustainable way, in order to protect nature and resources.

Heating and warm water are supplied by a solar thermal system and own deep geothermal well. Electricity is produced by photovoltaic installations, and rainwater is used for flushing the toilets.

Pitches

We have approx. 50 camping pitches for caravans or camper vans, all with electric hook-up.

Standard pitches are from 65 to 90 m², deluxe pitches approx. 100 m².

Tent sites

You can put up your tent in a meadow, by the lake or on a more central part of the campsite. (If you are by the lake, there is a separate parking area for your car.) There are trees all around, so you are sure to find a pleasant location, with shady areas too.

We have plenty of space for big or small tents.

Sanitary facilities

Our on-site sanitary facilities are modern, clean and well looked-after. They include underfloor heating, a dish-washing room, showers and individual washing cubicles, washing machines and dryers, as well as a nappy-changing table. You can also empty your waste water and chemical toilets here, of course.

Bathing in the lake

Our Felderholzweiher bathing lake and Kneipp well are fed by fresh spring water. The quality of the water is excellent and is inspected regularly.

We have set up a shallow paddling area near the shore, reserved for children and non-swimmers.

Children's playground

We have an extensive range of entertaining playground features for younger children, from swings and climbing frame to see-saw and sandpit digger, so the children can play to their hearts’ content. The playground is easy to keep an eye on and also has shady areas for relaxation.

Restaurant and kiosk

The Waldbad restaurant provides coffee and cakes as well as cold and warm meals, and the sun terrace is the perfect place to sit and enjoy the view onto the lake. But if you or your children only want a light snack, the Kiosk is the place to go to.

Our fresh bun delivery service is also very popular with the campers.

Leisure activities and day trips

Camping in the heart of the Allgäu region. Waldbad Camping Isny is in a tranquil, central location, embedded in the wonderful Allgäu landscape. We are a central starting point for hikes, bike rides and lots of cultural attractions. There is a fantastic view onto the Allgäu Alpine peaks within a few minutes’ walking distance of the campsite.

On our campsite in Isny in Allgäu we have 1x holiday apartment, 3x holiday houses and 2x inexpensive shepherd’s hut that you can rent for a holiday or short break. Our houses are cosy wooden chalets with high-quality furnishings. Our new holiday homes have superior furnishings and are beautifully situated, looking out onto the lake.
